🎭 It’s Showtime! Beetlejuice, Jr. Brings Ghostly Fun to the North Country This July

Hold onto your sandworms — Beetlejuice, Jr. is coming to life this summer thanks to the incredibly talented youth of Adirondack Regional Theatre’s Green Directors Series!

From July 10–13, audiences across the North Country will get a chance to experience the weird, wild, and hilarious world of Beetlejuice, Jr., the junior adaptation of the Broadway hit based on Tim Burton’s cult classic. But this isn't your average youth theatre production — it's a full-on spectacle built by a dynamic team of young performers and a creative crew that includes both kids and adults working side by side.

💀 A Show by Kids, for Everyone

The cast of Beetlejuice, Jr. is made up entirely of students ages 8–18, and they’ve been working hard to bring this spooky story to the stage. From intense rehearsals to learning complex musical numbers and choreography, these young performers are putting their hearts (and their haunts) into every scene.

But the magic doesn’t stop onstage. Behind the scenes, the Green Directors Series encourages kids to step into leadership roles and learn all about the backstage magic that makes a show tick. With the support of experienced adult mentors, the production team features youth helping with costumes, props, stage management, and more. It's an all-hands-on-deck, all-hearts-in adventure — and the result is pure theatre magic.
